I have recently got around to finally being able to afford my own flat so now was my perfect opportunity to start giving it a new look from those horrible bare white walls.
The wallpaper itself isn’t very expensive this stuff cost me around £71 for three rolls (not sure the price now but i got them under 20% promo code walldesigners were having) and i have not yet still done all the flat. The wallpaper is very easy to put up it also dosnt matter if you don’t match it all up brick by brick as it still has a very positive life like effect even at a close up.
I am going to be ordering a few more rolls when i get the time of work again to finish of the few walls that need doing. Overall a very positive successful purchase. In the past i have also owned the grey rustic brick wallpaper that i bought from Amazon, however they do look very realistic in either colour but having had both i would recommend the red rustic brick as its more life like in its features. i will also upload some pictures under my review to show those who are thinking of buying and are not too sure what it looks like.
thank you one happy satisfied customer 😀

The picture is cut into 8 sections. I layer these onto a clean floor first to make sure I had all the pieces in the right order. The top 4 pieces are al” numbered on the front of the paper from 1 to 4 (obviously). The other 4 pieces were not numbered.
I chose to write the numbers of each piece on the paste side, lightly and in pencil and at the bottom so I knew which was top and bottom when I pasted the paper.
Start by marking out the centre of your wall first, then mark up the wall where each piece goes after that. Take your time and using a spirit level make sure your lines are exactly straight.
The numbers on the paper are in the corners and very tiny to see. They get covered up so don’t worry.
I watched a you tube video that shows how to hang this picture by starting in the middle which sounds right but is incorrect for this actual picture as you have to overlap the pieces to hide the numbers and match the pieces up correctly.
There are hanging instructions in the box and you must follow these instructions correctly. However I chose not to use the supplied paste and purchased ready mixed paper paste that goes directly onto the paper and achieved amazing results.
Make sure you take your time and don’t rush hanging this paper and keep calm if things get a little out of hand and everything will work out fine.
Check your walls are straight before ordering. I see in the reviews people said the pieces never matched up, this may be the walls were not straight. You will not be able to hang this paper without gaps if the walls are not straight to start with.
Start by pasting the piece of paper marked 1. Paste the paper not the wall. Allow the paste to soak in the paper for 3 minutes so the paper can expand. If you paste the wall first then the picture will expand on the wall as you hang it and will wrinkle as it expands and dries. You must paste the paper.
Offer the first piece up to the wall and slide the piece up to the lines exactly as you drew them on the wall. Use a sponge or similar to push out all the air bubbles and trim the edges once you are happy with the positioning of the piece. Next do the same with piece 2 but this time when you offer the piece to the wall remember it must overlap the first piece by 5mm to cover the numbers up. Make sure the piece is square on the wall, overlaps by 5mm and all the pieces in the picture match exactly, if not carefully peel the piece off the wall and reposition. Once happy with the position remove all the air bubbles and trim the paper. Next do pieces 3 and 4.
Next offer piece 5 up to the wall. Piece 5 is directly below piece 1. You must make sure the piece is perfectly square, all the parts of the picture must match exactly. Make sure you overlap piece five, 5mm over the top of the piece above it. The next 3 pieces are trickier to install as they each have to overlap the piece to the left and the piece above by 5mm each. This is why it is so important to take your time and match the pieces perfectly. If you don’t install the first 4 pieces correctly, by time you get to pieces 7 and 8, you could easily be going wrong and have gaps in your picture.
The picture looked amazing once finished. Very happy indeed!
1 make sure your wall is square before buying
2 paste the paper not the wall
3 take your time
4 mark up the wall before starting
5 match the pieces perfectly before trimming
6 buy ready made paste to save time on mixing and avoiding lumpy paste
7 prepare the walls before starting, sand and clean walls with sugar soap.
8 stay calm and relax.
I recommend using the “blue tape” method to line up the overlap. Go on YouTube there is a good video there demonstrating the “blue tape” method. I also highly recommend using a window squeegee as you adhere the thing to the wall. The wallpaper is amazing but you’d need some patience to pull this one up, great product & great service.
Obviously they come in fixed sizes but the value was reasonably good for the overall quality (imo). I had 4 strips to put up. Main points:
The wallpaper strips are designed to be perfect fit between stripes when you align them up to the overall mural / galaxy pattern. This also means that one strip side edge will be pronounced when sat on the edge of another and thus the mural can appear with diagonal white lines around the joins when looking from the side (as the underlying paper is white).
The strips were sent rolled up tightly so I left them unrolled and weighed them down for a day or so to help smooth them out first.
I managed to put up the paper strips on my own but as per instructions recommend 2 people. However I found it much easier not following all instructions and instead gently folding up the paper before applying. I.e. Applying it unfolded top down meant the bottom edge would seem to always stick on too early. Maybe with two people this wouldn’t be such an issue.
I didn’t have any glue sent with the product but I bought some decent stuff and looking at other reviews that was probably just as well!
I used applying brushes and made sure the glue was applied evenly, with a big brush to smooth out the bubbles etc. It wasn’t easy (but I’m no expert) and you have to be careful but if you take your time it can eventually work out.
The galaxy picture is a bit blurry up close, but overall it looks good and arguably could cost about the same to paint the wall instead!
I was very hesitant about ordering from this company: details seems vague and i’m a not a fan of cm measuring, i got them converted, bought the adhesive wallpaper in the trompe oeil collection (if i’m remembering right), it was a white brick like garden motif, installed it in my hallway, the results were even better than i imagined, price is a little high but i think the quality is on point, i give 4 stars just because it took a while to arrive at my doorstep, got angry at first with the delivery person, package was damaged but the inside were VERY WELL PROTECTED.
Just buy from this company, i ran a check on them before inserting my credit card and you should too before purchasing anywhere kids.
coming from a man who got scams in multiple occasion.

Sizes a bit strange but made it work, easy to put up
Son loves it
1) your walls and ceiling are not level. Admit it, and cope with it. I leveled the leading edge of the vinyl, leaving ceiling and trailing edge overlap (so I could crease the first piece into the corner of the wall and into the ceiling). This does sacrifice maybe an inch of the width and height, but it goes up better.
2) little neon arrows – you can hold up the second piece up to the first, and find a place where a certain feature overlaps. Mark both sides of it with little neon sticky arrows. Find another overlap place about three feet further down the strip. Arrow that, too. THEN when you stick the thing up, you just need to make sure your arrows are touching! ( DON’T DO MY MISTAKE AND BUY THE ACCESSORIES SET AT THEIR CART PAGE, i saw the price and i can tell you that it worth it)
3) Squeegee or bone folder – You’ll get air bubbles. They’re very satisfying to squeegee out. I also used a bone folder to get into the ceiling and baseboard creases.
4) Remove outlet covers before you start. Don’t be dumb like me.
5) Use a fresh razor blade to trim. These guys like to shred a little; having a sharp blade will help.
6) Save the scraps. My textbooks are all protected, and super rad now 😌
